Caring by singing at the bedside

The Threshold Choir was inspired out of desperation of what to do when you want to be with a dying friend and sit with her/him for long periods of precious time...sing.
Kate Munger started to sing and taught others and now there are 107 Threshold Choirs in this country.
It's the kindest way of communicating with a friend who is in pain, sick or dying.
We, here in Santa Barbara, sing often at bedsides, usually 3 or 4 of us. Most people get better, some release their pain altogether, and we guide them with soft voices to where ever they want to go.
